I miss the hustle and bustle of London. The parts of London I like are all the Touristy bits. People who live in London don't spend much time round the tourist traps. I saw mostly other Americans in my travels to London, and I will likely see more Americans on my next trip, wherever that may be.As always it is a question of money and time and sorting out what to see and what to do. Times are hard at the moment, but I am still reading my London Travel Guides and thinking about seeing those London Attractions that I missed out on and that are new since I was in London all those years ago.

The trouble is that the touristy bits are considered the main attractions for a reason. On the whole they really are worth seeing. Nevertheless you tend to feel you are missing out on the "real" city. If you have a short time, you have limited choices, and you do end up following the crowds.
